Having joined Keenan CF in 2013, Sophie had the company register as a training firm and was the first trainee to become qualified with Keenan CF. She now uses this experience to help mentor trainees coming through the firm.

She is part of the Personal Insolvency team where she has worked on high-profile insolvency cases, carried out debt settlements on behalf of clients and helped individuals and creditors through formal and informal insolvency processes. Sophie has gained extensive investigative experience through asset tracing assignments and bankruptcy, leading to the discovery of undisclosed assets locally and across other jurisdictions.

Sophie is a Member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a BSc in Finance from Queens University Belfast. She currently sits on the Board of Business Beats Cancer Belfast and is part of the Member Services Sub Committee for the Ulster Society of Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

One thing she really enjoys doing is party and event planning and loves getting the chance to do this through Keenan CF events. She also thinks you can’t beat relaxing watching a trashy rom-com that’s so bad its good.
